Intro
As a member of Hwa Chong Robotics, I compete in RoboCup Junior Soccer under Sentinels Robotics, where we design autonomous 2v2 soccer robots. Our team’s performance at the recent Robocup Singapore Open 2025 was atrocious to say the least, and it was largely my fault for being a pathological procrastinator.
This blog post and its various subposts aim to serve as a form of accountability. I’ll post regular devlogs to force myself to do work. And if we do perform well, I guess this can serve as a resource for other teams in years to come, assuming that I somehow don’t write absolute bullshit.
Team
This year, two of my seniors have left the team, so my teammate and hardcarry Yuzhe and I have decided to pick up our junior, Teng Hung, to join us for this year’s competition. Yuzhe will continue working as mechanical and overall engineering lead for the team, while I will focus mainly on the electrical aspects, with all three of us working on the software side together.
